PLANCAFÉ - Tektum Architecture & Art

PLANCAFÉ is a building designed by Tektum Architecture and Art from Cluj (Transylvania) and the work was completed in 2014. The café-bar building has a built area of ​​96 sqm with a usable area of ​​143.3 sqm being divided into two levels. The work is located in Cluj (Transylvania) and is adjacent to a square adjacent to the Broadcasting building to the south and the east side looks to a work of Makovecz Imre-Reformed Church.

The building is on a narrow plot of land and is linked to an existing office construction through a clear and simple architecture. The ground floor is a cafe area with the wall to the open park offering the possibility of extension with a terrace. On the first floor there is a space with an opening to an outdoor terrace delimited by a screen-partition (an integral part of the facade architecture) that also offers comfort and privacy. The building has a geometric composition with a facade delimited by two massive reddish brick pillars that contrast with the grays painted in gray-green and the apparent concrete surfaces. In a world where a great deal of emphasis is placed on recycling, the decision was made to use an apparent brick finish that resulted from the demolition of the building on site.

BMW VISION NEXT 100

Ochelari în loc de o cască de protecție, îmbrăcăminte ușoară, echilibru complet fără un stand: iată doar trei dintre acele aspecte care ar putea deveni standard în motociclism împreună cu acel sentiment de libertate. Cel mai bun lucru este acela că acest vehicul vizionar este deja aici. Vă prezentăm BMW Motorrad VISION NEXT 100. 

Împreună cu echipa sa de design, Edgar Heinrich a elaborat un scenariu pentru viitor și a proiectat BMW Motorrad VISION, un vehiculului "viziune NEXT" bazat pe interconectivitatea  digitală dintre vehicul, drum și motociclist. 

BMW Motorrad VISION NEXT 100 se inspiră din trecut și păstrează elemente tipice pentru o motocicletă BMW precum, cadru sub formă de triunghi, negru și linii albe. Elemente structurale precum scaunul, învelișul superior al cadrului și capacul roții din față sunt fabricate din fibră de carbon.

Cadrul FlexFrame amintește vizual de forma cadrului R 23 din 1923 însă nu are nimic în comun cu acesta, precum articulațiile. Prin mișcarea ghidonului FlexFrame schimbă forma cadrului care permite efectuarea de manevre. Sistemul  Auto-echilibrare permite BMW Motorrad VISION NEXT 100 să rămană stabil, atât în timpul călătoriei cât și în repaus. Instrumentele de bord sunt înlocuite de o pereche de ochelari numite vizor. La comandă toate informațiile sunt proiectate în fața pilotului, prin ridicarea privirii este activată modulul oglindă retrovizoare iar prin coborârea privirii se afișează harta cu itinerarul stabilit.

Sistemul este completat de un costum din textile ușoare cu funcție de aer condiționat (cald/rece) încorporat.

Studio Italia Design

Studio Italia Design means "made in Italy" lighting fixtures for over three generations. Studio Italia Design luminaires are the result of the combination of different materials, of the classic style with the avant-garde style, respectively the combination between craft and technology. Here are some models from the series of suspended luminaires.

By combining an organic form with an innovative tissue called cocoon (resin), the Grace model was born. It is a model available in two variants having 50 cm and 70 cm diameter respectively. Both versions use bulbs with standard E27 socket.

The model Kelly uses a laser-cut lamp. With this cut-out you get interesting games of light and shadow. The model is available in several sizes in both semispherical and spherical versions, all using bulbs with standard E27 socket.

Full of personality Kelly Cluster is a small sculpted sphere derived from the Kelly model that uses LED lighting technology.

Fluffy like a cloud, the Nuvola model can be small and graceful or large and seemingly moving. If the clouds usually bring us rain these lights instead bring us light into the room.
